| 25 Aug 2008 - MinuteBuyer & Soft-ex Alliance Pays Dividends for Clients |
Dublin, Wednesday, 20 August 2008. According to a recent white paper by Aberdeen Group, organisations realise they can holistically manage their telecom expenses by using procedures and systems and that most companies manage less than 67 percent of their telecom expenses because of the decentralised nature of network services with local providers as well as other issues such as invoice processing inefficiencies, inadequate analysis of spending and bill payment and fraud and security monitoring.
Minute Buyer, the wholly Irish owned company offering independent telecom brokerage services, today announced that its four year channel partnership with Soft-ex, the market leader in the development and supply of advanced telecoms management systems, has saved hundreds of thousands of Euro for its Irish clients, through the implementation of its Optimiser product, which allows business-critical data to be collected from a single PABX, an IP switch, or a global network with many remote sites, providing a complete picture of network activity for cost control and budgeting, internal and external fraud detection, call classification, traffic and network load management and Quality of Service.
“Simply put, the partnership between Soft-ex and MinuteBuyer has been designed to showcase both our companies’ commitment to excellence to our shared customers. More than 20 years of combined experience, market knowledge and technological know-how has created value added solutions for our clients, as well as providing them with security and cost savings,” says John O Regan, Director, Soft-ex.
Clients of the channel partners, such as Anglo Irish Bank and Musgrave, have gained many cost efficiencies by monitoring traffic flows and protecting against fraudulent activities. “Upgrading security, reducing costs and improving customer service are three of the most important issues for any companies’ success,” says Shaun Hayden, Director, MinuteBuyer. “Companies should use the available mechanisms in the marketplace today to ensure that these extremely important issues are properly addressed and managed. Many of our clients have saved themselves both money and their reputation by allowing Minute Buyer to proactively manage their telecommunications programmes”.
Minute Buyer has been respectively providing telecoms solutions and counseling on a diverse range of telecoms issues for their clients, from negotiating the best rates from national and international telecoms service providers to implementing next generation voice management solutions that allow companies to control costs, detect internal and external fraud and manage traffic and network load.
Hayden added, “working with a leading provider of ‘hosted services’ such as Soft-ex has allowed us implement best-in-class services for our clients, safe in the knowledge that our clients are getting the best possible service and value for money”.
