Chief Executive Officer and Director, MinuteBuyer

Brendan has responsibility for the general management of the company with specific responsibility for sales and marketing, customer retention management and new product / revenue line development. Brendan joined MinuteBuyer from Interoute Ireland where he was Marketing Director. He was responsible for increasing Interoute's customer base from 7,000 to 65,000 residential customers in just over a year, employing a large direct sales force and response generating advertising activity.

Prior to this Brendan held senior management positions in An Post. He was responsible for the range of products available at Post Office counters nationwide. Highlights include: building BillPay into the most frequently used bill payment channel in Ireland; generating the re-design of Prize Bonds, leading to record breaking sales in excess of €50m per annum; and the launch of One Direct - a range of personal financial services distributed via a call centre in Athlone.

He is a graduate member of the Marketing Institute of Ireland, having graduated in 1990.

Shaun M. Hayden, CDipAF, MBA (Hons).
Director

Shaun has responsibility for operations strategy, business development and Strategy formulation. He has 17 years of senior management experience across a number of sectors including financial services, digital communications and the telecommunications industry.

He is also a senior lecturer in the Faculty of Marketing, Media and Information Technology, Dublin Business School, where he lectures degree and masters level students in the areas of international business and strategic marketing & management. Shaun is also a associate lecturer with the Institute of Public Administration (IPA). The IPA is the Irish national centre for development of best practice in public administration and public management.

Shaun holds an honours International Executive MBA from Smurfit School of Business, UCD, and a Certified Diploma in Accountancy and Finance from the ACCA. He is a member of the Institute of Directors in Ireland and a member of the O2 User Group’s management committee.

Shaun is also a director of Corporate Reputations Ltd.

Paul Hogan, DipDes.
Director

A founding member of MinuteBuyer, Paul has a broad range of business experience across new business start-ups, strategic development, marketing and sales. He has sat on a number of company boards, including BFK Strategic Design and Sonas, offering both marketing and strategic advice. As well as being a company director with MinuteBuyer, his primary role is to generate new business for the company.
